Today I am going to tell you about some foods which you think are not good when you are trying to loose weight but actually they are. There are so many websites that suggests you many easy ways to loose weight, but the fact is most of them are not even proven. There are lots of myths and misconceptions about these foods.  

Always remember there are no magic foods or ways that can help you in loosing weight quickly. The best way to loose weight is by making small changes in eating habits and regular exercise. This will give you long lasting success and will lead to good health and mental wellness. 


Cheese


Like everyone I too Love Cheese in my food, specially "Parmesan cheese". There are thousands of varieties of cheese available in the market with different amount of calories and percentage of fat. A research says that mayonnaise is higher in fat and calories as compare to cheese. In fact  in American diet, cheese is the number two source of dietary calcium. One tablespoon of Parmesan cheese contains only 21 calories and has less then 1.5 grams of fat + 90 milligrams of sodium.
You can consume cheese but keep an eye on calories it contains and how much you are consuming.  



Cranberry Juice


We think that cranberry contains high calories and not good for weight loss but  cranberry juice is excellent source of antioxidant, its less sweet and acidic than other citrus juice and can easy mix with other beverages in many ways. We can take a glass of cranberry juice before breakfast. Make sure you never skip your breakfast for fast result, In fact starving yourself in morning usually leads to eating more calories allover. Having a glass full of cranberry juice helps you eat less calories and make your stomach full.Also cranberry juice is good for "Urinary Tract Infection".



White Rice




Rice is not the healthier choice when you are planning to loss weight, but any thing taken in the right quantity is not bad. Anything eaten in moderation is good for you. 30-50 grams of rice contain 103 calories which is low enough to fit in your diet chat and instead of white rice eat brown rice. 


Corn




Corn is well known for reducing the cholesterol level and also give good health to our heart. Corn is a low fat complex carbohydrate therefore we must add this to our diet chart. You can intake corn in various ways such as like:-

  • Boiled corn    
  • Corn Salad
  • Corn Bhell
  • Corn Fried with Coconut..             



Egg Yolk


Egg have three sections- the shell, the egg white and the yolk. Yolk (egg yellow) contain vitamin A, D, E and K along with omega-3 fat. Egg yolks also contain more beneficial folate and vitamin B12. The yolks also contain far more of the nutrient choline than the whites, and all of the antioxidants. One egg yolk contains around 55 calories. People who eat eggs for breakfast intake fewer calories throughout the day. 

Prawns


Prawns comes from fresh water and they are good source of protein, omega-3 fatty acids and naturally low in low fat. They are also a good source of unsaturated fat. This is because it contains three times of Omega-3 Fatty Acid. Researches shows that foods with high amounts of Omega 3 are very helpful in reducing the risk of heart attack and maintains the blood pressure.


 Nuts 


Nuts are nature's way of showing as that small things comes in small packages full of vitamins, heart healthy fat and protein. But it does not mean that eating nuts will make you put on weight. Therefore its advisable to eat five almond everyday to remain healthy. As I said nuts are full of heart healthy fat so it can be consumed at all age but in small amount as required.

Tips To Reduce Weight Naturally at Home

I want to look good in my cousin's wedding next month and for that I have to loose some weight. As we all are not satisfied with our body weight. whenever we think about loosing weight, the very first thing which comes to our mind is subtracting food from our life instead of adding. Today I am going to tell you some very easy tips to loose unwanted weight effortlessly....


Start taking Dark Chocolate Instead of other Desserts:

I just love the smoothness and flavor of the dark chocolate and no other sweet can replace it. This is made by the seeds of cocoa tree which is very good source of antioxidant. Instead of eating muffin and ice-cream as a dessert we should go for dark chocolate. It makes our skin healthier and smoother. Chocolate is well known for best energy booster and improving your mood and controlling the appetite. 



Reduce the Size of Your Plate: 

Do you really think the size of bowl, plate and spoon matters? Yes it does matter, Psychologically it has been proven the People who chose a large plate tended to put about 52% more food on their plate and ate about 45% more. So if your favorite plate of taking food is big, change it with the smaller one.




Drinking Plenty of Water:

Drink a glass full of water 30 minutes before you eat your meal because water is an appetite suppressant and drinking it before meals can make your stomach feel fuller and reduces your food intake.  





Replacing Your Regular Cooking Oil With Olive Oil:

In India oil is the most essential ingredient of all type cooking and in Hindi it is known as "Jaitun Ka tel". If you want to loose weight you can to replace your refined oil and vegetable oil with extra virgin Olive oil. Olive Oil contains three types of antioxidant like vitamin E, polyphenols, and phytosterols which is very good for skin as well as hair.



Make Small Changes In Your Snacks

Start taking smart snacks instead of heavy, fatty and fried items :-
  1. Like eating salted popcorn instead of butter popcorn and chips.
  2. Replace your cold drink which is full of calories with fruit juice or lemon water. 
  3. Use sugar free or brown sugar in your sweet dish. 
  4. Replace your morning and evening milk tea with green tea or any other herbal tea which is full of antioxidant.
  5. Replace your dry fruits with fresh fruits and veggies
  6. Take brown rice instead of white rice to fulfill your rice craving.



    

Don't Go Subtract Your Diet:  

Most of us believe that starving can help in loosing weight just in few days but "this is not true", Starving yourself could help you to lose some weight immediately but most of it returns when we start eating your normal diet. Joanne Larsen, RD says one person can loose only 1/2 pound muscle or fat per day. Instead of starving yourself eating on regular interval will give you long time success.                                             


Eat Mindfully:

Mindful eating is a technique to prevent from overeating. It works by concentrating on every step on eating each piece of food. Main purpose of mindful eating is not to engage in other activities like watching TV, Reading Book or Playing game on computer while you are eating, because all these activities creates distraction and one cannot realize how much you have eaten. Give at least 20 minutes time to your meal, so you can chew and swallow food which helps to digest it completely.



Change The Habit Of Eating Out Side:

Try to make small changes in your life which is easy to change and carry out. The best change you can do is stop eating out side every day, it harms the most. You can go out side once a week but make sure you take one bowl of fresh salad and soup before meal.
